Pudding wants to talk about the first few days of the holidays. š¾
Youād think the end of school would feel like the best, most exciting thing ever.
And sometimes it does!
But sometimes it feels a bit strange instead. Wobbly. Like you donāt quite know what to do with all this extra time, or whatās supposed to happen now nobodyās telling you where to be.
That feeling is really normal.
Hereās why it happens:
Your brain gets used to routines ā even busy, structured ones. When the routine disappears suddenly, it can feel a bit like losing your footing, even though nothing bad has happened.
Hereās what helps:
Let the wobbly feeling be there. You donāt have to force excitement that hasnāt arrived yet.
Try something small and slow. A drawing. A walk. Helping with something ordinary.
Give it a day or two. Most wobbly feelings settle once you find a new, slower rhythm.
You can want the holidays and feel strange when they arrive.
Both things can be true. š¾š«¶
