Pudding wants to talk about new starts today. š¾
New classroom. New teacher. Maybe a new school entirely.
Everything unfamiliar all at once: the room, the faces, the way things are arranged, the view from the window.
New can feel exciting.
New can also feel really overwhelming.
Hereās something important to remember:
You donāt have to know how itās going to go.
You just have to walk in.
Thatās the only thing today is asking of you: to walk through the door.
Not to have it all figured out. Not to feel completely confident. Not to know how the year will turn out.
Just to walk in.
And if today feels wobbly? Thatās okay.
Wobbly is allowed on new start days.
Hereās what helps:
Find one familiar thing ā a friendās face, your own pencil case, the feeling of your bag on your peg.
Take one slow breath before you walk into a new room.
Remember: everyone around you is finding their feet too, even if they donāt look like it.
Pudding says: you walked in. Thatās the bravest thing. š¾š«¶
