Pudding has a question for you this week. đŸ
When things feel hard - really hard, not just a bit difficult - what actually helps?
Not whatâs supposed to help. Not what anyone has told you should help.
What actually, genuinely, in your real experience, makes things feel even a tiny bit more manageable?
Pudding has noticed a few things that help Pudding:
Moving - a walk, a run around the garden, even just stretching out somewhere different.
Being with someone warm and safe - not necessarily talking. Just being near.
Doing something with paws - or hands. Making something. Drawing something. Building something.
Noticing one small good thing - not pretending everything is fine. Just finding one true thing that is okay.
Your toolkit might look completely different from Puddingâs. Thatâs the point
- itâs yours.
This week, try this:
Think of a time things felt hard and then got a bit better.
Ask yourself: what helped?
Write it down somewhere you can find it.
Because the best time to know whatâs in your toolkit is before you need it. đŸđ«¶
