Pudding has been doing something important this week. đŸ To be fair Pudding does this important thing whenever he can.
Resting.
Fully, properly, unashamedly resting.
And Pudding wants you to know something about rest that is very important:
Rest is not the opposite of being resilient.
Rest is part of how resilience is built.
When youâve been through something hard - or even just when youâve been going and going and going for a long time without stopping - your brain needs space to catch up.
To process. To settle. To quietly do the work that it canât do when everything is busy and noisy.
And half term is the perfect time to let it.
So this week, Pudding gives you full permission to:
Do something slow -a walk, a draw, a lie-in, a long bath.
Do something thatâs just for fun - not useful, not improving, just enjoyable.
Do genuinely nothing - if thatâs what you need, that counts too.
Rest isnât laziness.
Rest is how we fill back up.
And a full cup is a resilient one. đŸđ«¶
